Mitchell muckles Curley

By: Matt Velazquez at 2:36 pm

Lafayette QB Rob Curley ran to his right side and was through out of bounds by Phil Mitchell. I use the word “muckle” as a throwback to my freshman football coach in high school who described one of the better hits of the season as a “muckling” because he couldn’t think of an adequate word. Speaking of muckling, on third down, Adam Mehrer disrupted what looked like a long reception by Shaun Adair with a big hit to force the incompletion. The Lions took over at their own 42 after a punt.
